Trident Fire Compliance were initially engaged to carry out a fire compartmentation survey of one of Inspired Villages’ ongoing developments in Chester.

This was to assist with identifying any defects or non-compliances which needed to be corrected.

Trident Fire Compliance attended site over a number of days to carry out a comprehensive survey of firestopping and fire doors and prepare detailed reports of our findings.

Inspired Villages used the findings of this report to engage their chosen contractors to carry out corrective and remedial works to ensure that the fire protection systems were installed correctly to the manufacturer’s guidelines and accepted best practice/guidelines at the time.

To ensure these works were carried out correctly, Inspired Villages instructed Trident Fire Compliance to carry out a follow up compliance inspection of completed works to confirm that all items had been addressed and the building was now compliant.

Trident were able to identify a small number of defects which had not been addressed and encouraged the contractor to return to site to close these out.

Following this, Trident were able to confirm that all of the remedial fire protection works had been completed.

Since this initial project, Inspired Villages have utilised Trident Fire Compliance on a number of other developments, including sites in Warwick and Alcester.
