Our Fire Protection Consultant, Sion Roach, shares his experience of working at Trident, why he joined us, and his favourite part of the job.

1. Why did you join Trident Fire Compliance?
I joined Trident Fire Compliance in 2022, as it was a prime opportunity to advance my career. The prospect of working on large projects across the UK is appealing to me, as doing so creates challenges and opportunities for growth.
2. Describe a typical day working at Trident.
There is no ‘typical day’ at Trident as every day is different; from working from home, to a survey in London, or even a survey in the Lake District! You get to visit various locations and meet different people throughout the construction industry. As a company, we also attend regular events and conferences throughout the UK, expanding our knowledge within the fire industry.
3. What would you say are the core values of Trident?
I think the core value of Trident is to make a positive difference, this is accomplished by ensuring safer buildings throughout the UK and actively participating in non-profit initiatives such as JUST ONE Tree.
4. What is the best part of being part of the Trident team?
Being part of the Trident team is a really rewarding experience. Everyone is friendly and is always willing to lend a helping hand. When the workload is heavy the team pulls together to meet client deadlines. There is great energy between the team and as different team members, we contribute different perspectives leading to comprehensive and successful outcomes.
5. Is there any advice you would give to a potential new member of the team?
Embrace a learning mindset and don’t hesitate to ask for help.
